Not bad for being in French Immersion for only 7 days
Another year of teaching french immersion has begun and I couldn't be more excited. Today the students completed their first published piece of writing and how fun was that! On top of completing their first work they actually got displayed in the cafeteria. This was such an honor! It is always a show in Madame Kenny’s Class
So I continued to look at other songs by Alain le lait... We did assis debout today. I have visions of dance moves that we could do.... It is always a show in Mme Kenny's room! I think I might get the kids to perform it at the next assembly. I don't think I can post the video due to the legality of being able to identify the kids, but I will look into it! Learning math with music
I am always amazed at how fast kids pick up French when you incorporate music. I love to teach the rote part of numbers with songs. My goto song has always been 21 Amis by Jacquot...but I also found this amazingly adorable new video. And the kids LOVE it. They've named the little Rastafarian Frisé...
