We are wrapping up our Monster Posters today. This was a great way for students to practice all of the French structures they have been learning since September. The kids had a great time and did an AMAZING job!!! Here is one example of the finished product. Students were able to choose what they wrote and how to decorate the poster. During the writing process I reminded the students of their writing objective. I was able to take small groups and target these areas. You are able ... continue reading...
Song of the week: Rock de la sorcière
Today’s song of the week was one that I found on Pinterest from Shannon Weibe. http://www.stephyprod.com/karaokes-enfants/dessins-animes/2011/dessin-anime-rock-sorciere-clip-video-gratuit.htm#lecturesenfants It is quite long, so I wouldn’t suggest using it as a transition song. The animation is cute and the melody is very contemporary. I like that the lyrics are included in the video. It makes for a great way to work on fluency. I think I will add it to my listening center during ... continue reading...
La routine du matin…: How long should it take?

There Bravos are tickets they earn for being on task or ... continue reading...
French song of the week

I ask the student to spell a word which I have noted as a common error in their writing in play-doh. Common ones today were : et (and) and est (is) , un and une, petit and petite, grand and grande... When everyone is done, Porcinette walks around tummy grumbling "eating" the mistakes. - I ... continue reading...
