Word work- Les mots
Just a quick post today... Report card week is busy!!! This week we are working on our high frequency words. Students are rotating through 4 word work centers. Students are working in groups and the youngest of the group always goes first. Each group is assigned an envelop of high frequency words. The students make a draw pile in the middle of their work area. The youngest student draws the first card and reads it while their team make the word. Beginning Comprehension Booklets
Hello friends, This was a request from a colleague in Alberta. I hope many of you out there can use it as well. This series of comprehension booklets are for beginner readers. For today I am posting the booklet I use at the very beginning of the year when I am teaching basic vocabulary.
