So here I am surfing the net scouring through site after site looking for different ways to practice mental math questions when I find this neat little math boggle game.
I found this game on a site I’m a member of called Teachers Pay Teachers in their free download section. To become a member it is very easy and they have three levels of membership. The basic membership is free and there are some great products out there… So I found this math boggle game and I printed it.
I glued some borders to a big piece of red construction paper and wrote as a title
“Combien d’addition peux-tu faire?”
Then I stuck masking tape in four rows so that I can add and change numbers with sticky tack If you put sticky tack on construction paper it rips it when you take it off and you end up with construction paper pieces in your sticky tack…
I chose to add 2 digit and single digit numbers in order to allow for differentiation. I plan to use this activity for early finishers or for when there is 5 minute left before the next transition.
I created a simple math boggle recording sheet and Voilà… a new mental math game!
