La routine du matin …How long la routine du matin should take varies throughout the year. At this point in the year it takes us about 30 minutes. Within this 30 minutes we…or should I say…the mini-prof goes over:
1. The daily schedule – Le menu – 
2. Coupons – Les coupons : During this part the mini-prof asks students if they would like to buy coupons. These coupons are rewards that students can purchase with their Bravos. There Bravos are tickets they earn for being on task or speaking French.
3. Takes attendance – Les présences
4. The date : Today, yesterday and tomorrow – La date: Aujourd’hui, hier et demain
We also count how many days we have been at school.
5. The birthdays : Les anniversaires
6. The weather: La météo
7. Skip counting: During this part we are currently counting pumpkins by 2, ghosts by 5 and skeletons by 10…
And that’s it! 30 minutes
There are many different things that can be done during La routine du matin, and this is only one example. The morning routine should always be evolving and changing to meet the needs in your room.
